Aggrey Klaaste
It is often the vision of one man that makes a difference, and Aggrey Klaaste was such a man. In 1991, he was one of the key people who helped create Education Africa and he held the position of chairman of our organisation for 12 years. When we formed Education Africa, Aggrey advised us not to reinvent the wheel but to use available expertise to achieve success," says executive director James Urdang. "He was always on hand to guide us, not only myself but also my colleagues. His advice and support always gave us the strength we needed to move forward."
